Personal Reflections
This is year I really enjoy the dynamic in my classes. Each class has its own unique personality, and as a result I am able to challenge myself as a teacher to do different things. With my 4th period class, I have been most challenged because of its size. There are approximately 10 students and oddly enough it is the most difficult to teach. Even though we are a small school, our class sizes do not always reflect that, so students are less focused in this class because they are not accustomed to the tone of a small class. I’ve decided to have each one of them design a Spanish book about themselves that they will be able to keep into adulthood. This project seems to have engaged them, but I continue to look for new ways to spice up the curriculum.
