I believe standard 2 is most closely related to the Trait Approach; The Trait Approach suggests that leaders possess particular qualities such as intelligence, self-confidence, determination, integrity, and sociability.

I have observed all of the Big Five traits in myself at varying degrees in various situations over the years. I, humbly and truly, believe that that my strongest Big Five trait is self-confidence. I have always believed in myself and have never doubted my potential. Even in the face of "nay-sayers", I have been able to reach toward self-efficacy. I can account my greatest accomplishments to believing in my talents and skills to achieve my goals. My most recent accomplishment of buying my first home is a testament to my self-confidence because my credit score, my bank accounts, and the economy were all against me in that endeavor. However, I chose to believe that I would be a homeowner before I began CAU, and that became a reality because I believed in myself and I was determined-another essential leadership trait.

Once again, kudos to group 1 for an informative and interesting presentation!
