If we are to be effective school leaders, then we must not only understand, but incorporate technology into our professional daily lives. Being tech saavy is an intregal part of being an educator that is necessary for learning objectives to be met. Additionally, the use of technology in assessment practices is important for immediate feedback purposes. Learners need to be made aware of their errors in a timely manner so as to improve their skill sets, thereby achieving learning outcomes. Since you are a classroom teacher, how can you implement the use of technology to improve teaching and learning outcomes?

It felt much like a game show, especially with the video camera, but I appreciated the immediate feedback.

I would like to implement more technology in the classroom, but it is challenging considering the lack of resources available to the students. I have a class website, use the promethean board, internet. I have an electronic portfolio as part of my annual teacher evaluation. Despite my efforts with technology, many students do not have computer access at home, we don't have a computer lab, many of our media center computers are broken. We have approximately 20 computers for 400+ students in our school. We have been promised computers since last school year. Teachers were delivered 2 long computer tables in september, and as the semester comes to an end, we are still waiting much needed technology equipment.
